A SPECIAL FUNDRAISER,TO HELP IFAH FIND A FOREVER-HOME

We are so happy to offer these IFAH designed, truly beautiful vegan-theme Decorative/Prayer Flags. These flags are fair trade, made with care by a family who are 3rd generation flag maker-artisans in Nepal.

***Please note: the “Hemmed” version of the flags are currently sold out. The “un-hemmed” flags are exactly the same, only they are more traditional: they have a raw, unfinished edge. They will show more wear if hung outdoors but will last many, many years if displayed indoors, out of the elements.

The genesis for the idea of creating these unique flags was to help IFAH raise critical funds to support the Institute finding a new home. We are losing our current space where we have been for many years; the place we set down roots for this work of rescue, care and vegan access. Simultaneously, in the last year our small organization was realizing we have outgrown this location so it is simply time, and necessary, to move and upgrade our facilities.

In light of the Covid-19 situation in Nepal and most recently, terrible flooding and landslides in the area where the flag-makers live, we are now also designating 20% of net proceeds raised by flag sales to be sent to the family in Nepal, to distribute as local, critical support in their immediate community.

Perfect as gifts, or as decoration for garden or home: above an altar indoors or on a porch outdoors… or flying overhead in rafters that safely shelter feathered and furry friends - everyone will feel the joy and empowerment of these flags and their messages of compassion, justice, peace, love and veganism for all.

• There are 5 panels, each measuring 7 inches x 9.5 inches

• Colors: Purple, Orange, Yellow with red ink, Blue and Green.

• 100% cotton with a white poly cord for hanging. Hemmed as per the note above are currently sold out. Choose UN-HEMMED from the drop-down list (for a more traditional, raw-edged look.)

• Made to hang both indoor or outdoors [please note they will fade over time outside in the sun and elements. The un-hemmed flags will over time fray more if hung outdoors, as traditionally it is believed that the wind blows and frays the fabric flags and carries their messages and prayers away…]
